Platts & Nisbett are attending the Medica Congress and Exhibition, which takes place from 16th - 19th November 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany. Medica is the world’s largest healthcare trade fair and attracts thousands of international visitors every year. We are looking forward to meeting with our existing international partners, and building relationships with potential new distributors during our visit.
Platts & Nisbett are currently designing a new and exciting catalogue for a wide range of high quality instruments used during veterinary surgery.
Platts & Nisbett would like to thank everyone who visited our stand at the recent Sheffield Elbow Course. Our surgical instruments attracted much attention, with surgeons taking a particular interest in The Sheffield Shoulder & Elbow revision Kit which is the first of its kind.
Platts & Nisbett will be exhibiting at The Fourth Sheffield Elbow Course on the 6th & 7th October 2011. The event, which takes place at the Northern General Hospital, brings together a group of eminent upper limb surgeons who are all experts in their field.

Platts & Nisbett is to be featured on The Discovery Channel’s “How It’s Made” programme. Our segment will be broadcast in the UK on 27th June 2011, at 8.30pm. The five minute feature is the result of twelve hours filming which took place in 2009, and shows our surgical instruments being made by hand.
