February 2017 sees Platts & Nisbett celebrate 40 Years of British Manufacturing. In terms of our production, that’s 21,038,400 minutes and countless tonnes of Stainless Steel.

Curated by Museums Sheffield, the exhibition features work by 100 leading Sheffield Companies who are all at the forefront of their industries.
Platts & Nisbett Surgical Instruments can now be seen on display in the Surgeons’ Hall Museums in Edinburgh.
Surgeons’ Hall Museums are situated in the iconic William Playfair building and are owned by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. They consist of the Wohl Pathology Museum, the History of Surgery Museum and the Dental Collection.
Platts & Nisbett is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a place on the first Total Orthopaedic Solutions Framework. Orthopaedics is a key category within NHS clinical procurement, and offers many challenges within a fragmented landscape. The Total Orthopaedic Solutions project and subsequent Framework is an initiative which has been led by NOE CPC to implement a nationally accessible agreement for all aspects of Orthopaedics.
